No. The grades are independent. You may join as an Ambassador, apply directly for Fellowship, or pursue both.
Ambassador membership has no annual fee. Fellowship carries a non-refundable $199 assessment fee, which funds the independent panel's review time regardless of outcome, followed by $99 in annual dues once conferred.
You must provide substantial, independently verifiable achievement in at least three of six domains: technical innovation, leadership, research, peer review, professional recognition, or organizational impact.
Yes. Ambassador and Fellowship applications are open to qualified professionals worldwide.
Ambassadors can take part in Council activities and events, contribute to knowledge-sharing, and mentor through AIITE programs. Formal Council membership and chair roles are held by Fellows.

You may request one reconsideration by a newly constituted sub-panel. The assessment fee is non-refundable regardless of outcome.
We aim to keep Fellow status rare: roughly 1–5% of members are selected as Fellows, so it stays a genuine mark of distinction rather than a default tier.
