Join the Review Panel

Panel service is honorary and unpaid. Panelists are selected for recognized expertise, not institutional affiliation, and the Panel decides Fellowship, not the Institute.

You submit this interest form with your background and disclosures.

Verification

AIITE verifies your professional standing and reviewing experience.

Agreement

You sign the Panelist Agreement covering confidentiality and recusal.

Appointment

You are added to the published roster and assigned reviews in rotation.

Eligibility requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in IT, artificial intelligence, data analytics, software engineering, or a related field
  • Recognized expertise in your domain. Prior peer review, advisory, editorial, or assessment roles are a strong signal
  • No current employment, consulting, or close personal relationship with any active AIITE Fellow applicant you may be assigned to review
  • Ability to complete assigned evaluations within the Panel's review cycle deadlines

Independent evaluation is the cornerstone of AIITE Fellowship. The Panel operates on mandatory recusal, rotating sub-panel assignment, and written reasoning for every determination.

What panelists do

Review applications

Assess Fellow applications against the published criteria across six evidence domains.

Provide written reasons

Document a reasoned assessment for every approval and decline.

Declare and recuse

Identify and self-recuse from any case with a conflict of interest before review begins.

Maintain confidentiality

Keep all application materials strictly confidential under the Panelist Agreement.
